Who we are: CMG Forge ("CMG Forge", "we", "us"), a sole operator business run by CM, based in Lebanon. Contact: cmgforge@gmail.com.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers three things: the free tools on cmgforge.com, the Musashi assistant service, and contacting us.
1. What we collect
Free tools (cmgforge.com).
- Files you upload (images, audio, video) so the tool can process them.
- Basic technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser type) and any error logs.
- No account is required to use the tools.
Musashi (paid assistant service).
- The messages you send your assistant, and the memories, reminders and documents you choose to save.
- Content from services you connect yourself (for example email or calendar), only as needed to do what you ask.
- Technical and usage metadata (model used, token counts, cost, instance name) for monitoring and billing. This metadata never includes your message content, memory content, or document content.
When you contact us. Your name, phone number or email, and whatever you put in your message (via WhatsApp, email, or a booking link).
Payments. How you pay depends on where you are. Inside Lebanon we accept Whish, bank transfer (Bank Audi), Neo, and OMT. From outside Lebanon we accept Western Union and PayPal (more options may be added later). When you pay through a third-party service such as PayPal, that service handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive confirmation and the billing information needed to process your order. We do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To run the tools and the Musashi service you asked for.
- To provide support, send service notices, and bill you.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- We do not sell your data. We do not use your Musashi content to train AI models.
3. How long we keep it
Tool uploads: processed on our server and cleared within 3 hours. We do not keep a copy of your uploaded files beyond what is needed to return your result.
Musashi data: kept for as long as your instance is active, so your assistant can remember. We run nightly backups with a 16-day retention. When you cancel, we delete your instance and its data within 30 days, unless you ask for an export first.
Contact messages: kept as long as needed to help you and for our records.
4. Who we share it with (sub-processors)
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service:
- Hosting: our VPS provider, Contabo, where the servers run.
- AI processing: Google (Gemini API), which processes assistant messages to generate replies. We use a paid Gemini tier; content is not used to improve Google's models under that tier.
- Messaging: Telegram, and for WhatsApp either Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API or Twilio, depending on how your assistant's WhatsApp is set up.
- Payments: depending on your location, this may include PayPal, Western Union, or local Lebanese payment services (Whish, Bank Audi, Neo, OMT).
We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service, and we do not sell data to anyone.
5. Where data is processed
Our servers are hosted with Contabo [confirm data-center region, e.g. Germany]. AI processing may occur on Google's infrastructure. If you are outside those regions, your data may be transferred and processed there.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- See what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or delete it.
- Export your Musashi data.
- Stop processing, by cancelling the service.

7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data: each Musashi client runs in its own isolated instance and database, and secret information is stored in an encrypted vault. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will try to notify active clients.
